You were Down Syndrome 1 Superhero? After graduating from high school, John Cronin wanted nothing more than to go into business with his dad, Mark. The father-son duo brainstormed 2 and decided 3 to go forward with the one thing Johnny loves most: socks.

I designed those. I would tell Crazy Socks, why sock? Because it’s fun, it’s colorful. I love to be creative and I want to do wonderful things. Here I made me be me.

Since launching John’s Crazy Socks, father and son have been went crazy busy. While John, the face of the company’s videos and promotions 4, puts orders together, Mark takes care of the technical aspects of the business such as accounting 5, managing, inventory 6 and staffing. We’ve been created 35 jobs. 18 of those are held by people with different abilities. We’ve raised over 135 thousand dollars for our charity partners.

John’s Crazy Sock’s doesn’t only spread happiness through their socks, the company also spreads happiness to those in need: 5% of John’s profits go to the Special Olympics and the company also donates to the National Down Syndrome Society and the Association for children with Down Syndrome. That makes these founders 7 feel crazy happy which motivates them to help others feel the same.
