I travelled among unknown men
I travelled among unknown men，
In lands beyond the sea；
Nor， England！ did I know till then
What love I bore to thee.
'Tis past， that melancholy 1 dream！
Nor will I quit thy shore
A second time； for still I seem

The joy of my desire；
And she I cherished turned her wheel
Beside an English fire.
Thy mornings showed， thy nights concealed 2
The bowers 3 where Lucy played；
And thine too is the last green field
That Lucy's eyes surveyed.

终于过去了，那忧伤的梦境！
我再不离开你远游；
我心中对你的一片真情
时间愈久煜深厚。
在你的山岳中，我终于获得
向往已久的安恬；
我心爱的人儿摇着纺车，
坐在英国的炉边。
你晨光展现的．你夜幕遮掩的
是露西游憩的林园；
露西，她最后一眼望见的
是你那青碧的草原。
