Premier Li was welcomed to New Zealand's Government House by Prime Minister English. The premier arrived in the country Sunday for high-level talks, as both countries push to expand free trade.
Premier Li's trip to New Zealand comes after visiting Australia, where he warned against protectionism. The premier also said China wants to expand its trading relationship with Australia. The two countries are New Zealand's largest export markets. Premier Li Keqiang plans to be in New Zealand until Wednesday.
