A Vietnamese vessel 1 has capsized after harassing 2 and intentionally 3 ramming 4 a Chinese fishing boat in the South China Sea. The crew aboard the boat were rescued.


 


The clash happened near China’s Xisha Islands. Vietnam has sent a number of ships to obstruct 5 the drilling of Chinese companies in the waters where the collision took place.


 


The Chinese side has taken measures to stop Vietnamese interference and lodged 6 serious representations to the Vietnamese side, asking them to immediately stop the disruptive activities.
