A:Excuse me.Can you tell me where we are?
B:We are on Washington Street in the central part of the city.Do you have a map？
A:Oh，here.
B:This is where we are.Where are you going?
A:To the convention center.It should be on Olympic Boulevard.
B:Yeah,keep on Washington another block or so and turn left on Seventh Avenue.The first major intersection 1 is Olympic Boulevard.You will see the convention center from here.
A:Washington to Seventh to Olympic...thank you!
B:You bet.
1.Can you tell me where we are?
在询问我们现在所在地时常用的表达。where we are是“我们现在在哪里”的名词形式。此外，也可以用这样的表达方式：Can you tell me how to get to...?"您能告诉我怎样去......吗？“
2.This is where we are.
直译的意思是”这里是我们所在的场所“。通常是边指着地图边这样说。
3.should be on
should的意思是”应该“。be on...（街道的名字）表示”在......街道“。
4.keep on Washington another block or so and turn left on
表示”照这样一直走“时，应该使用keep。keep straight表示”直行“，keep right表示”（在驾驶中)沿着右道车线行驶。”
another block or so的意思是“大约一条街的道路”。在会话中经常这样使用。
表示转弯时要使用“turn”，表示“在第七个路口处”转弯时，它前面的介词应该使用turn on，而不是turn at，这一点要多加注意。
5.The first major intersection...
在美国，像intersection of Seventh and Olympic“第七大街和奥林匹克大街的十字路口”这样的表达方式，要使用两条街道的名字。
6.You bet.的本意是“当然，确实”。这是当别人对你说thank you，你回答他说“不客气，没关系”时的用法。
