[00:09.48]after we get married, have a baby, then another.
[00:13.55]Then we are frustrated 1 that the kids aren’t old enough
[00:16.59]and we’ll be more content when they are.
[00:18.80]After that we’re frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with.
[00:22.63]We will certainly be happy when they are out of that stage.
[00:26.24]We always tell ourselves that our life will be complete
[00:29.52]when our spouse 2 gets his or her act together,
[00:32.37]when we get a nicer car, and are able to go on a nice vacation, when we retire.
[00:38.27]The truth is, there’s no better time than right now. If not now, when?
[00:44.51]Our life will always be filled with challenges.
[00:47.57]It’s best to admit this to ourselves and decide to be happy anyway.
[00:51.84]One of my favorite quotes comes from Alfred Souza.
[00:55.89]He said,“For a long time it had seemed to me
[00:59.50]that life was about to begin—real life.
[01:02.24]But there was always some obstacle in the way,
[01:05.30]something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business,
[01:09.15]time stillto be served, a debt to be paid.
[01:12.63]Then life would begin.
[01:14.18]At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life.”
[01:18.87]This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness.
[01:23.35]Happiness is the way. So, treasure every moment that you have.
[01:27.84]And remember that time waits for no one.
[01:30.90]So stop waiting until you finish school, until you go back to school;
[01:36.15]until you get married, until you get divorced;
[01:39.22]until you have kids, until your kids leave home;
[01:42.71]until you start work, until you retire;
[01:45.74]until you get a new car or home; until spring;
[01:49.50]until you are born again to decide that
[01:52.63]there is no better time than right now to be happy...
[01:55.96]Happiness is a journey, not a destination.
[01:59.57]So, work like you don’t need money,
