C: I love just about anything by Prince.
B: so, you're into 80s music then?
C: well, I like all kinds of music, but he is one of my favorites. How about you?
B: I like alternative 1 music.
C: do you have a favorite band?
B: to be honest, no. I'm always in search of new music to listen to.
C: do you often go to concerts?
B: I usually go to see a live band about twice a month. What about you?
C: I love going to live gigs. Are there any good local bands playing around here that you'd recommend 2?
B: there's an open mic night at the pub 3 down the road every Thursday night where my favorite local band usually plays. You should come along next week with me.
C: I'd love to, but I have a night class on Thursdays.
B: that's too bad. Maybe another time.
C: let me know if you hear about any good bands playing on the weekends. I have more free time then.
B: I'll let you know. Did you want to watch some TV?
C: sure, what's on?
B: there's a reality TV show about a group of people who are trying to lose weight.
C: that sounds dreadful 4!
