Hi, everybody welcome to the CNN student news. It's April 1 and Carl is off today, no fooling. I am TisherLamd. We are gonna start things off with the country that has been in the news a lot recently. North Korea. The North says it's in the state of war with South Korea and there is actual fighting going on. North Korea is also threatening to attack the United States. The U.S. says it takes threat seriously, but America and South Korea officials say this kind of thing isn't new for North Korea. This weekend the atmosphere on the Korean Peninsula is very different depending on where you live.
The dolls of war howled from North Korean television screen Saturday as martial 1 music and mass rallies were the only choice if you are lucky enough to own a TV. A few times that broadcast switched straight side, to sample what was on the minds of Pyongyang’s patriots 2. We can't take any more said this man, we can't step back. It's now time to show the jerks are real test.I am holding my two fists hard. Kim Jong-un says if the war breaks out, we should mercilessly crush our enemies. This woman said crush them so they wouldn't even be able to sign the surrender papers. In fierce tones, TV anchorsrepeated morning said the country’s forces were on the highest alerts. The video onslaught takes viewers around the globe smashing the America withits fists, hammering home the message that from Kim Jong-un on down, this is country where everyone yearns 3 to be armed and dangerous.
Meantime, hearing the South Korean capital, it is acompletely different thing. People can see their past, their history; they are looking into a brighter further, one that does not include war.
I don't think there will be a war. Currently, North Korea just raised up their military alertness. South Korean people are not even interested. They want to attack, they would have attacked ready. North Korea is just threatening.
The colorful changing of guard ceremony is gates of Seoul's Deok sugung Palace drew it share of tourists’ wealth, undoubted by the dire 4 media forecast. On one peninsula this Sunday, two entirely 5 different views of what lies ahead across the North images of nation on the desperate brink 6 of war. In the South, people are preparing to go to work Monday morning. Jim Clansy CNN Seoul.

The teachers and administrators are accused of cheating on scandalize its tests. They allegedly give the students the right answers or even change answers on the student exams. The investigation 8 started because some of test results were suspicious.Based on statics, the school scores improve too much. Now, why would teacher and school officials want to cheat? Well, possibility is money. Better test scores could equal better performance reviews and bonus for some officials. And teachers claimed that they were threatened if they didn't cheat.
Testing and results and targets being reached became more important that actual learning on the part of children.
Some students actually help to expose the all egedc heating. One told investigators 9 that when she was in the fifth grade, her teacher offered her the answer for standardize 10 test. The student said she tried to say no, but she wanted to take the test on her own. Her mother and the state investigators say the students are the victims of the scandal.
I have a fifth old now who is behind in achieving hard goal on becoming what she wants to be when she graduates.
The district's former superintendent 11 was one of 35 people charged last Friday. She denies any involvement in cheating and new superintendent says 95% of the district’s employees were involved in the scandal.
