 Thousands of people showed up at a Missouri church to rally in support of Michael Brown’s family. He’s the teen shot to dead by a police officer eight days ago, spurring nightly protests in the small city of 21,000. NOR’s Eliza H reports from St. Louis.

 
“No justice, No peace. No justice, No peace.” So many people showed up at this unity 1 event for Michael Brown that they still into the parking lot to start their own outdoor rally. P xx is a Ferguson resident who didn’t make it inside. “It is massive, it is great. I am proud to see most of people that are out here are young people.” Inside the greater grace church, the reverent 2 ?? Meanwhile, the Justice Department was planning a second autopsy 3 on Michael Brown. Attorney General Eric Holder 4 ordered the second one citing extraordinary circumstances. Officials say it will take place as soon as possible.
 
Kenyan plans to bar people travelling from three of the West African countries hardest hit by the Ebola virus into the country. Following that announcement, Kenyan airways 5 said it will suspend flights to Liberia and Sierra Leone. ? says restricting air services is a critical component 6 of outbreak containment 7. The suspension is effective midnight local time on Tuesday. Meanwhile, officials in Liberia are worrying Ebola could soon spread through the biggest ? town in the capital after residents raided a quarantine center for patients thought to have virus and took items including bloods and sheets and mattresses 8. Officials say up to 20 people with the virus fled the center during the attack.
 
Kurdish forces swept through villages around Mosul Dam today, backed by air strikes from Iraqi and US planes. NPR’s Peter Kenya reports that Peshmerga forces are said to have retaken most of the dam from Sunni Jihadist fighters.
 
With more than a dozen air strikes by the US according to the military central command, Kurdish forces put through ground formally held by extremist fighters calling themselves the Islamic States and attacked Islamist positions at the dam itself. Multiple Peshmerga sources claimed to have completely controlled the dam by night fall, but other officials said fighting was continuing. Retaking the dam is seen as essential to avoid a breach 9 that could threaten the city downstream on the Tigris River. In northeast Arkansas, train fire resulted about 500 evacuees 10 have been allowed to return home. Officials with the Union for Safe say two of their workers were killed, two others were injured when two freight trains carrying toxic 11 substances collided and caught fire earlier today.
