When my husband was promoted 2, we put our house up for sale. Three weeks later , it was still on the market. I became a busy housekeeper 3. Ever room had to be kept tidy, and dishes had to be washed and put away when used . then one day the doorbell rang unexpectedly 4 at 08 a.m. Sleepily ,I open the door and saw our agent standing 5 there with a couple from New York. “There was no time to call ”, he explained, ”because the couple had to catch a plane home.”
The three people made their way passed the dirty breakfast dishes on the kitchen table and into bedroom with unmade beds. As I retreated 6 into a bathroom to comb my hair , I heard the man say something to his wife . Then they both laughed.
Two days later , the agent phoned to tell me that the couple had bought the house . He repeated what the buyer had said when he handed over the check the following day : “ That house has a warm, lived-in-feeling , just like ours.”

11 A 这一题考的就是文章的第一句话When my husband was promoted ，而且这里有一个时间项标志词“when”。Promote 1 升迁，晋升，与选项A的got a higher position是同意复现。
12 B 这一题的考点在第一段最后一行那个Agent说的话：because the couple had to catch a plane home. 这里有个很明显的因果项标志词because。这句话时说他们要去赶飞机，所以选B, 这是一个近义复现
13 D 这一题的考点是文章的最后一句话“That house has a warm, lived-in-feeling , just like ours.”这个房子有一种温暖和居住的感觉，就像我们自己的。这句话的意思也就是D选项的“something familiar to them”有些东西让他们很熟悉很亲近。
其实能抓住前面三句，最后两句，再加上一些标志词，应该还是能够把握考点的。
