1. A new open ended ceasefire is in effect between Israel and Hamas. The two sides say they have agreed to a truce 1. It comes after 7 weeks of fighting. Yet, violence continued until the final moment before the ceasefire took effect.
2. A small rented airplane crashed and burned shortly after takeoff. It happened in suburban 2, Cleveland. All four college students aboard were killed on the first day of classes. They were students at Case Western Reserve University.
3. Nearly 2 dozen people were injured when a school bus crashed into a tree in Huston. Most of those taken to the hospital were students with minor 3 injuries.
4. And one fire crew in Huston received a surprise visitor. A puppy 4 stuck inside a tyre. It took them more than an hour to free the dog. After the rescue, fire crews named the dog Lug 5 Nut.
