 The prime ministers of South Korea and Japan have reached a deal meant to resolve a decades-long impasse 1 over Korean women forced into Japanese military-run brothels, euphemistically known as comfort women during World War II. The deal, which includes an apology from Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe and an 8-million dollar aid fund from Tokyo, could reverse decades of animosity.
