Forecasters warn conditions will remain volatile 1 in southern California as a powerful storm slams into the region. The 4th Pacific storm in a week has led to street flooding, snarl 2 roadways and cancel flights. States of emergency have been declared in 5 California counties. 


More aftershocks are again sending Haitians into the streets. Dozens of aftershocks have been felt in Port-au-Prince since the 7.0-magnitude quake devastated 3 the city Jan. 12th. The U.S. Geological Survey says all of the aftershocks have been 4.5 magnitude or stronger.


A judge in Los Angeles will hear arguments today to determine if Roman Polanski could be sentenced in absentia for his decades-old sex case. The film director is currently under house arrest in Switzerland. Prosecutors 4 are insisting that Polanski appear in L.A. courtroom. 


Conan O’Brien’s run as the Tonight Show host ends tonight. O’Brien and NBC reached a buyout deal yesterday. It will pay O’Brien and his staff $45 mil. Jay Leno will leave his 10 p.m. show and return as the Tonight Show host after the Olympics
