[-1:11.00]but one can't take health for granted 12.
[-1:12.00]There are three things that a person can do to help stay in good shape:
[-1:13.00]eat the right foods,get enough sleep,and exercise regularly.
[-1:14.00]Proper nutrition is important for good health.
[-1:15.00]Your body cannot function well unless it receives the proper kind of"fuel".
[-1:16.00]Avoid foods with lost of sugar and fat.
[-1:17.00]Eat plenty of foods that are high in protein,
[-1:18.00]like lean meat,fish,beans,and nuts[-1:19.00]Vegetables and fruits are especially important
[-1:20.00]because they provide necessary vitamins and minerals.
[-1:21.00]However,don't overeat.It is not healthy to be overweight.
[-1:22.00]Getting the proper amount of sleep is also important.
[-1:23.00]If you don't get enough sleep,you feel tired.
[-1:24.00]You have no energy.Over a long period of time,
[-1:25.00]a little amount of sleep may even result ina change of peronality.
[-1:26.00]Be sure to allow yourself from seven to nine hours of sleep each night.
[-1:27.00]If youu do,your body will feel strong,and your mind will be sharp.
[-1:28.00]Getting plenty of exercise is equally important.
[-1:29.00]Exercise firms the body,strengthens the muscles,
[-1:30.00]and prevents you from gaining weight.It also improves your heart and lungs.
[-1:31.00]If you follow a regular exercise program,
[-1:32.00]you will probably increase your life-span.
[-1:33.00]Any kind of exercise is good.
[-1:34.00]Most sports are excellent for keeping the body in good shape.
[-1:35.00]They are not only good for your body,
[-1:36.00]but they are enjoyable and interesting,too.
[-1:37.00]So,I would strongly advise you to keep a fitness program.
[-1:38.00]There are many things you can do to exercise,
[-1:39.00]such as:ride a bike;play basketball;play ping-pong or table tennis;
[-1:40.00]go for long walks;skip rope;dance;swim;play soccer;
[-1:41.00]do exercises to music;play catch.
[-1:42.00]All these activities can help you build the following.

[-1:45.00]They work much better as a system when they get lots of exercise.
[-1:46.00]They will be able to pump more oxygen to all of the other parts of your body

[-1:49.00]every other part of your body works better.

[-1:51.00]Muscle strength is how hard or how far you can move your body
[-1:52.00]or an object(e.g.kicking a ball,or jumping).

[-1:54.00]Muscle endurance is how long you can repeatedly 14 move your body or an object.
[-1:55.00]4.Flexibility
[-1:56.00]Flexibility is how well you can stretch,

[-2:-2.00]When we feel hungry,it means our body needs food.
[-2:-3.00]When we feel angry or excited,some of us may eat too much,
[-2:-4.00]some of us may not want to eat at all.
[-2:-5.00]A long time ago,in England,some judges used to decide
[-2:-6.00]whether a person was telling the truth by giving him or her some dry bread.
[-2:-7.00]If the person could swallow the bread,
[-2:-8.00]it was a sign that the person was telling the truth.
[-2:-9.00]Though this seems rather strange and foolish,
[-2:10.00]it is indeed an excellent way of finding 16 out the truth.
[-2:11.00]A person worrying about something has much difficulty swallowing anything dry.
[-2:12.00]He or she loses his or her appetite and does not want to eat
[-2:13.00]because he or she is worrying about something.
[-2:14.00]Some people are known as"emotion eaters".
[-2:15.00]They eat,not because they want to satisfy their hunger, [-2:16.00]but because they want to satisfy their emotions.
[-2:17.00]They eat to make themselves feel better.
[-2:18.00]What they believe to be hunger is something else altogether
[-2:19.00]-anger,boredom,fatigue,depression,or loneliness.
[-2:20.00]And so they eat,hoping that food will solve their problems.
[-2:21.00]But in the end,they only feel worse.
[-2:22.00]They gain weight and their emotional 17 problems only grow larger.
[-2:23.00]Emotion eaters often turn to food right after having a bad experience.
[-2:24.00]For example,an emotion eater may receive bad news
[-2:25.00]about an exam they have just taken.
[-2:26.00]They feel stress and fear and turn to food
[-2:27.00]in an attempt to make their negative feelings go away.
[-2:28.00]This kink of eating is not healthy.
[-2:29.00]Many of those who eat like this become obese
[-2:30.00]and then have to deal with the emotional
[-2:31.00]and physical problems that go along with obesity 18.
