When I was 1 young, I'd listen to the radio,
waiting for my favorite 3 songs.
When they played I'd sing alone 4.
It made 5 me smile.
Those were such 6 happy times, and not so long ago.
How I wondered 7 where they'd gone.
But they're back again, just like a longlost friend.
All the songs I loved so well.
Every sha-la-la-la, every wo-wo still shines 8.
Every shing-a-ling-a-ling, that they're starting to sing, so fine.
When they get to the part 9 where he's breaking her heart 10,
it can really make my cry.
Just like before, it's yesterday once more.
Looking back on how it was in years gone by,

so much has changed.
