Zhou Libo, a Chinese stand-up comedian 1 who is famous for his iconic "Shanghai Style Small Talk," will perform at New York's Carnegie Hall in July.
因其标志性表演形式“海派清口”而出名的我国脱口秀喜剧演员周立波将于7月登上纽约卡内基音乐厅的舞台。
The show, "Sing our generation's songs, tell my own jokes," will be the first time a Chinese stand-up comedian to take the stage of the world renowned 2 venue 3.
这场演出题为“唱时代的歌，说自己的笑话”，将是我国脱口秀喜剧演员首次在这所举世闻名的音乐厅登台演出。
"I always wanted to perform in New York City," said Zhou at a press conference on last Monday. "New York and Shanghai are very similar cities with beautiful skylines and wonderful people."
周立波在上周一举行的新闻发布会上表示：“我一直想在纽约表演，它跟上海都有美丽的天际线、有趣的人，是两个感觉很相似的城市。”

Zhou first gained popularity in 2006 with his unique comedic style that is delivered in a linguistic 4 mixture of Mandarin 5 Chinese, Shanghainese and some English words and phrases. He has named his style "Shanghai Style Small Talk", which attracted a considerable fan base among Chinese audience.
2006年，周立波凭借将普通话与上海话结合、穿插英文单词和短语的语言形式表演喜剧的独特风格开始走红。他已经将自己的风格命名为“海派清口”，而这一风格在中国观众中吸引了大量的粉丝。
Zhou also created "Mr. Zhou Live Show," which is considered by some as the first television comedic talk show in China.
此外，周立波还创办了《壹周立波秀》节目，该节目也被一些人认为是中国第一个电视喜剧脱口秀节目。
The show will premiere on July 8, 2016.
据悉，本次演出将于2016年7月8日首映。
