Taking a look at the satellite imaging, thick cloud across northeastern New South Wales is bringing some isolated 2 showers and storms to the coast. Patchy cloud over the southeast is pushing some snowfall across the Alps, and showers at lower altitudes, and some cloud over the southwest of the country is also creating some scattered 3 showers.
Queensland will see some isolated showers above the northeast tropical coast and isolated patchy rain over the central and southeastern interior.
There will be some light rain in the far north of New South Wales, clearing later on and some showers in the far southeast. It should be a fine and sunny day elsewhere.
Some isolated showers in inland Victoria will form snow at higher altitudes today, contracting eastwards 4 and clearing later. A cold but mostly sunny day elsewhere.
Tasmania will see some scattered showers mainly in the south and west of the ranges. It will be a cool day across the state.
It's mostly clear across South Australia with some scattered cloud across the south bringing showers to the coast.
A thin band of cloud across southwest WA near a trough is generating isolated, mainly coastal 5 showers. A high across the rest of the state is keeping skies clear elsewhere.
And the Northern Territory is seeing cloud-free skies from a ridge 6 of high pressure extending right across the state.
And around the country tomorrow, cool and cloudy on the east coast; showers for Melbourne, Hobart and Adelaide; overcast 7 in Perth; hot and sunny in Darwin.
