Mr Bowen says that concern wasn't raised with him during talks in Jakarta yesterday.


And the Australian dollar is closing in on parity 10. It’s hit a new high against the US dollar. It's now fetching 99.29 US cents as it edges closer to that parity position. This is the highest point since the currency was floated in 1983. And gold has also rocketed to a record high off the back of the weak US dollar. At its highest point, it reached more than 1370 dollars overnight.
