The Somali based Islamist group al-Shabaab has denied having any links to the Australian men charged over an alleged 1 terrorist plot in Sydney. Three of the five men are of Somali origin and one is accused of having travelled to Somalia to fight and train with al-Shabaab. But a spokesman for the group says it doesn’t have any members in Australia.
