Once again, you felt unprepared – you left home without something you need, the confirmation 1 number for a rental 2 car. Where is it? On the back of an envelope? In an email? What a pain! Here's a same situation with a big difference.

This time you use your phone to send a text message that says "rental car number". In seconds, you get a message back with the number. It's like magic, but it's not. It's MyGADs.

Here's the basic idea: using MyGADs, you can easily create a webpage with information you need to access. It's as easy as writing a document. Once it's saved, the information becomes accessible from a text message, an instant message or the MyGADs website. All you have to do is ask.

Here is an example. The Comets are youth soccer team and they are good, partly because their parents are so involved. Their problem is keeping up with all the games and which parent is bringing snacks. To solve this problem the coach created a page or GAD 3 on mygads.com, and invited the families to use it.

A GAD is a different kind of webpage. Anyone on the team can add information to the site. They just click and type. The coach lists all the times and dates of all the matches. One parent creates a place for parents’ volunteer to bring snacks. Because it's on the MyGADs page, everyone on the soccer team can access the information using a text message, an instant message or the MyGADs website. All they have to do is ask for it.

Here is how it works: Jessica is at the grocery store and wonders if it's her week to bring snacks. Using her cell phone, she simply sends a text message that says "June 10 snacks", within a few seconds she receives a text message back that says "Jessica", so she buys oranges.

Her son Jason uses MyGADs, too. He sends a messaging with a friend and is asked if he can go to a movie on Thursday. He can't remember the time of his match, so he simply opens a chat window for MyGADs and types "Time June 10th". Jason immediately gets an iron reply that says "6 pm". He’s free for a movie after the game.

Because the team website is secure and always up-to-date, the team never gets confused. Jason's dad was inspired by the team's site and learned that MyGADs works for business information, too. Being a sales manager, his team is always in need of up-to-date inventory 4, price and sales figures. Information is hard to access on the road. So, he wrote to his company to implement 5 MyGADs. He quickly learns that MyGADs works smoothly 6 with an internal system. Constantly updated sales, price and inventory numbers can be kept on the MyGADs page without extra work. And because it's on the GAD, his team can access the information by simply asking for it using a text message, instant message or website. Plus, MyGADs offers a smartphone application that makes accessing enterprise 7 information even easier. Suddenly his team is more efficient. On a sales call, a salesperson 8 can uses a smartphone to ask for information like "white inventory", and answer the customer's question on the spot, 560 mugs in the inventory.

Just like the other examples, no documents, no search results, just answers. For any group, MyGADs makes it easy to create a website and then access that information from anywhere using simple questions. Now Jason's family has their own GAD, and one of the first things his dad put on the site: anniversary date.
