US President Donald Trump 1 said he would be “honoured” to meet the North Korean dictator “under the right circumstances”, amid heightened tensions between the two countries.
美国总统唐纳德?特朗普(Donald Trump)表示，“在适当的情况下”，他将“荣幸”地与朝鲜独裁者金正恩会面。目前美朝两国紧张升级。
"If it would be appropriate for me to meet with him I would absolutely, I would be honoured to do it," the president told Bloomberg News. "Under the right circumstances I would meet with him."
“如果我与他会面合适的话，我绝对会去做，我将很荣幸这么做，”特朗普告诉彭博新闻(Bloomberg News)，“在适当的情况下我会与他会面。”
He added: "Most political people would never say that, but I’m telling you under the right circumstances I would meet with him."

Mr Trump then stressed the importance of what he had said, declaring: "We have breaking news."

Meanwhile, his commerce secretary Wilbur Ross attempted to row back Mr Trump’s comments that China’s help on the issue was more important than trade issues between Beijing and Washington.
