　　达蒙和斯特凡将埃琳娜关起来，并用残忍手段帮其寻回人性，但结果却不令人满意。卡罗琳不赞同二人的做法，她欲示好埃琳娜，但仍以失败告终。为消灭塞拉斯，邦妮私下邀请凯瑟琳合作。塞拉斯变成克劳斯的样子袭击了卡罗琳，并逼其说出邦妮的下落，甚至不惜为此伤害了卡罗琳的母亲。万般无奈的塞尔瓦托兄弟请来凯瑟琳帮助埃琳娜恢复人性，而这其中马特更发挥了巨大作用。
