伊泽贝尔意外现身让珍娜无比震惊，珍娜认定自己受到了埃琳娜和里克的欺骗。伊泽贝尔说出其来意是为了帮助埃琳娜，并提出让埃琳娜单独拥有一套房子以保证包括吸血鬼在内的其他人无法进屋伤害埃琳娜。可实际上，伊泽贝尔和凯瑟琳是一伙的，她联系到了克劳斯的巫师并企图牺牲埃琳娜以保全凯瑟琳。伊泽贝尔向里克表明心迹后出卖了他，导致里克被克劳斯的巫师所控制。
