[00:01.16]Summon Up Courage迎接挑战
[00:04.32]There were two men both decided 1 to get a horse.
[00:09.17]One man found a red horse with much spirit.
[00:12.87]The other chose one more docile 2.
[00:15.50]They would go riding together every day.
[00:18.15]It so happened on the route they would take around the countryside,
[00:22.73]there was a ditch about eight or nine feet wide,
[00:25.58]after a time it was apparent that the red horse’s spirit could not be shaken.
[00:31.28]When coming up to this gap in the trail he hurled 3 it the first time.
[00:35.98]Because of the spirit in him he was quick to respond and jumped it with no problem.
[00:41.69]Yet the more docile horse would balk 4 every time he came to the edge.
[00:46.61]He wasn’t sure of the distance;
[00:48.82]he would stand on the edge trembling with indecision and doubt
[00:52.86]because the distance to him looked too great.
[00:55.73]Then one day after awhile,
[00:58.25]coming up to the ditch and watching his companion take it with ease,
[01:02.51]something happened within him, a knowing was born that he could too.
[01:07.35]So with agility 5 and ease he gracefully 6 bounded over the barrier.
[01:12.37]Life is much like the two horses.
[01:15.32]When we as people come up against trials or situations
[01:19.61]we just don’t feel like we can make the distance
[01:22.44]or that it just is too big and we don’t know if we’ll make it,
[01:26.63]we balk standing 7 on the edge trembling.
[01:29.25]It’s not until we depend upon the spirit within.
[01:32.30]Then we are able to make it with ease.
[01:35.04]Until we quit looking at the obstacle or trial through our eyes,
[01:39.44]they will always seem too big for us.
[01:41.95]But there is a spirit within us that can judge the distance to the other side
[01:46.89]and will give us the strength to make it through it.
[01:49.73]As long as we let it.
[01:52.57]It all comes to a choice whether we look for the spirit within
[01:56.32]or just stand on the edge and balk.
