The Turkish military says it warned a Syrianwarplane four times as it was approaching Turkey'sair space before shooting it down earlier today. TheTurkish General Staff said in a statement that thesecond Syrian plane heeded 1 the warnings and turned back. Police in Nigeria have discovered what local media are calling a house of horrors in thesouthwestern city of Ibadan with decomposing 16 corpses 17, human skulls 18 and other body parts,several extremely malnourished people were found nearby, and local media reported that about15 people were discovered in chains. Venezuela's Attorney General Luisa Ortega Diaz says the authorities are investigating 60 casesover alleged 20 human rights abuses during recent street protests.
