英语口语：咱们打个平手
1. We’re even. 我们平了。
打个平手，平手/和局
The opponent won the first game and I won the second round. So we’re even. 对手博得了第一局的角逐，我赢了第二局，是以我们打平了。
此外打平手还可以这样表达：It’s a tie/draw.
2. 平衡的，势均力敌的，或相等可能性的
如an even fight: 一场势均力敌的打架
又如：an even chance of winning: 具有不异获胜的机缘
偶数的，双数的
Two and six are even numbers. 2和6是偶数。
那么奇数就是odd numbers
3. even-tempered：脾性温顺的，心平气和的，脾性好的。
an even temperament/good nature: 温厚驯良的个性
4. Call it even: 扯平了，两不相欠
在Friends中Chandler求全Monica：You opened all the presents without me? I thought we were supposed to do that together.
我不在的时辰你就把礼物拆开了？我本想我们会在一路时才打开的。
Monica则回敬说：“You kissed another woman.” 你还吻过此外女人呢！这时的Chandler只好说：“Call it even?”那就扯平了！
其实even自己就有“扯平了，各不相欠的”的意思，如：
If we each take half, then we’ll be even. 如不美观我们双方各拿一半，我们就互不亏欠了
