围棋冠军败给“人工智能”

英国《自然》杂志27日发文称，美国谷歌公司旗下的人工智能（AI）开发商“DeepMind”（位于英国）研发的围棋电脑软件“AlphaGo”（阿尔法围棋）打败了职业棋手，开创全球先河。
In what they called a milestone 1 achievement for artificial intelligence, scientists said on Wednesday they have created a computer program that beat a professional human player at the complex board game called Go.
科学家27日表示，他们研发出的计算机程序在桌面游戏Go中打败了职业棋手，人工智能取得了里程碑式的成就。
Go是一款围棋游戏，围棋起源于中国古代（originated in ancient China）。这次对弈让大家想起IBM研发的超级计算机“深蓝”（IBM supercomputer Deep Blue）1997年对战国际象棋世界冠军时取得的胜利（match victory over chess world champion）。而围棋游戏Go比国际象棋更加复杂。
这次胜利是人工智能（artificial intelligence）所取得的里程碑式的成就（milestone achievement）。Artificial intelligence常简写为AI，是对人的意识、思维的信息过程的模拟。在计算机领域内，得到了愈加广泛的重视。并在机器人（robots），经济政治决策，控制系统（control system），仿真系统（simulation system）中得到应用。
