The parent of China's Geely Automotive will bid for Ford 1 Motor-owned carmaker Volvo Car Corp with a domestic investment firm. Geely's chief executive Gui Shengyue was quoted at a news conference as saying the company would make thejoint bid but did not disclose the name of any local investor 3.
