Security forces in the South Korean capital Seoul have clashed with protesters during one of the country's biggest street rallies in recent years.
韩国首都首尔爆发近年来最大的示威游行，很多安保部队和抗议者集聚在街上。
Police used tear gas and water cannons 1 against demonstrators demanding the resignation of conservative President Park Geun-hye. Tens of thousands of people took part in the march, according to police.
示威者呼喊要求朴槿惠下台，警方用催泪弹和水枪驱赶群众。据警方介绍，有上万名群众参与了此次游行。
It brought together various groups, including trade unions opposed to the president's business-friendly policies. Others were protesting against the imposition of state-approved history schoolbooks, which they say whitewash 2 South Korea's past dictatorships.
