Chebet wins Rotterdam marathon

THE HAGUE, April 10 (Xinhua) -- Wilson Kwambai Chebet won the 31st edition of the Rotterdam Marathon in The Netherlands on Sunday.
The Kenyan athlete needed a time of 2:05:26 for the 42 kilometers and 195 meters. His compatriot Vincent Kipruto finished second in 2:05:32.
Chebet walked away from Kipruto in the final kilometer of the race and came in solo 1 on Coolsingel street. Chala Dechase from Ethiopia ended as number three in 2:08:47.
The women's race was also won by an athlete from Kenya. Philes Moora Ongori beat Dutch local favorite Hilda Kibet with a slight margin 2 of eight seconds. Ongori finished first in 2:24:19.（本文由在线英语听力室整理编辑）
