But first, the organisers of the London Marathon have confirmed that the race will definitely take place in the British capital this weekend despite the deaths of three people following explosions at the Boston Marathon on Monday. Security for the event is being reviewed however. There'll also be a 30-second period of silence before the race begins, and the runners will be given black armbands to wear. The former London Marathon winner and world record holder Paula Radcliffe has told the BBC, it's a very difficult situation for the organisers and competitors.
"26 miles you can't guarantee and I think a lot in the past and going forward now is gonna rely on the vigilance of people, being aware of what's going on around them and that's a horrible situation to be in, to be looking around with suspicion of people all around you."

Do you think, as an elite runner now, you would be thinking twice about running out on the streets to the street marathon? I mean, they all are, but would you think twice about it now?
"I think first and foremost as a mother I'd think more about having my family at the finish area, which is a terrible thing to say, but that, I think you put yourself there at your own risk and then you look at the chances, and you look at it in that respect. But putting your family in that situation, I think, it's something that I think people are gonna to have to come to terms with and conquer it, and I think questions need to be asked and looked at. We need to look at what we can do to, just to try and ensure people's safety as much as possible."
