MILAN, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- AC Milan club vice 1 president Adriano Galliani confirmed on Thursday that the Rossoneri will not sack Massimiliano Allegri as the head coach following a string of losses.
Local media reported that Allegri could be fired at any time after Wednesday night's 1-0 Champions League defeat to Malaga, their sixth loss in 11 competitive games this season.
"We will continue with Allegri,"Galliani told Milan Channel. " We will go forward with him."
"The President and I are convinced we should go forward with Allegri. The fans must have patience and understand this is Year Zero for Milan.
"We must push on and we will emerge from this moment, with this coach. I try not to speak too much, because I am constantly asked about the coach, but this is not our problem.
"We didn't play badly last night, as we were organized and when Philippe Mexes went so close I thought at the moment things really aren't going our way.

The most likely candidate should Allegri be fired would be current assistant manager Mauro Tassotti.
