BEIJING, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- Senior Chinese leader Li Changchun on Friday called on publicity 1 personnel to learn from a model publicity cadre and carry forward the spirit of serving the people.
Li, a member of the Standing 2 Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, met with Zhou Enyi, former head of the publicity department of a district of Panjin, a city in northeastern Liaoning Province, and thanked him for his long-term contributions to the Party and the people.
An outstanding representative of grassroots publicity officials, Zhou has exhibited core socialist 3 values and always put solving people's difficulties as his top priority in his 43 years of service, said Li.
