China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association unveiled the 2016 edition of the Top 500 Chinese Enterprises list last Saturday, based on revenues from 2015.
上周六，中国企业联合会、中国企业家协会依据2015年的营业收入发布了2016中国企业500强榜单。
Among the top 500 firms, 155 reported declines in revenues in 2015, 61 more than a year ago, with many of them representing the overcapacity-plagued coal, steel, oil and chemicals industries.
在500强企业当中，报道称有155家收入相比2015年有所下降，61家相比有所上升，其中许多代表着深受产能过剩困扰的煤炭、钢铁、石油和化工等行业。

The State Grid 1 grabbed the top spot with 2.07 trillion yuan in revenue, with oil giants China National Petroleum 2 Corp. and Sinopec ranking second and third.

Haitong Securities, GF Securities and China Galaxy 3 Securities entered the list for the first time as a bull stock market boosted their revenues.

Revenues of the top 500 enterprises totaled 59.46 trillion yuan last year, down 0.07% from the previous year, according to the list. This is the first decline in combined revenues of China's top 500 firms in 15 years.
榜单显示，2016中国企业500强去年的营收总额为59.46万亿元，较上年下降0.07%。这是中国企业500强的营收总额15年来首次下降。
The service sector 4 contributed 40.5 percent of the revenues, outperforming the manufacturing sector, at 39.2 percent, for the first time.
服务业营收占比达40.53%，首次超过制造业，制造业的营收占比为39.2%。
Cui Dianguo, chairman of train maker 5 CRRC Corp., said large companies should speed up overseas expansion to create a global value chain.
