阿里巴巴表示交易总额已超越去年的93亿美元-英语课

　　Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group Holdings Ltd said on Wednesday the value of merchandise it has sold so far during the Singles' Day online shopping extravaganza had surpassed last year's total of $9.3 billion.

　　中国电商巨头阿里巴巴周三表示，目前为止，今年双十一“光棍节”的交易总额已经超越去年的93亿美元。
　　The company, which six years ago turned Nov. 11 into China's equivalent of U.S. shopping event Cyber Monday, could see this year's sales rise to as much as $13.8 billion, a growth of almost 50 percent from last year's total, according to research firm IDC.
　　根据市场研究机构国际数据资讯指出，阿里巴巴今年光棍节的交易总额有可能高达138亿美元，比去年成长将近50%。
　　JD.com Inc, China's second largest e-commerce firm and Alibaba's chief rival, also said it broke past last year's full-day total just before noon China time. JD.com does not give specific sales figures on the day.
　　中国第二大电商企业、阿里巴巴主要对手--京东也宣称，接近中午时就已突破去年光棍节的全天交易额。但是京东并未提供具体数字。
　　"Alibaba is positioned as the number one player in the Chinese e-commerce market, so it has to be seen to be maintaining, or gaining ground really," said Duncan Clark, chairman of Beijing-based tech consultancy BDA.
　　“阿里巴巴是中国电商市场的龙头老大，因此必须要让人看到真的在保持或扩大地盘，”电讯谘询企业博达公司的董事长Duncan Clark说。
　　Alibaba's numbers this year will get a boost from sales by affiliates 1 including brick-and-mortar retailer 2 Suning Commerce Group Co, in which it bought a 20 percent stake in August. Suning's in-store sales will count toward Alibaba's total gross merchandise volume, as long as they go through final processing online, an Alibaba spokesman said.

　　Alibaba has stressed its focus on international e-commerce this Singles' Day. "Within the next five years, we expect China will become the world's largest e-commerce market for imported products," President Michael Evans told reporters.
　　阿里巴巴在这个光棍节已经将重心放在了国际电商市场。阿里巴巴集团总裁兼执行董事，迈克·埃文斯表示：在接下来的五年内，我们希望中国能够成为全球最大的电商出口市场。
