Schwarzenegger set to return to film acting

LOS ANGELES, July 12 (Xinhua) -- Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to return to Hollywood some seven years after his last movie act, Lions Gate Entertainment Corporation confirmed on Tuesday.
The embattled movie-star-turned-politician will appear in the movie "The Last Stand" as a border-town sheriff who unexpectedly has to deal with an escaped drug kingpin.
"Arnold Schwarzenegger will bring incredible magnetism 1 to this complex but classic role," said Joe Drake, president of Lions Gate's Motion Picture Group.
The movie, which is based on a speculative 2 script by Andrew Knauer, will be directed by South Korean action-and-suspense master Kim Jee-woon, Lions Gate said.
The movie will be the first which Schwarzenegger will star in since "Terminator 3: Rise of The Machines," which was released in 2003, shortly before he kicked off his first campaign for governor.（本文由在线英语听力室整理编辑）
