Times Higher Education (THE) last Wednesday reveals its BRICS And Emerging Economies University Rankings 2017.
《泰晤士报高等教育》（THE）于上周三公布了2017年《金砖国家和新兴经济体大学排名》。
China's institutions dominate, taking seven of the top 10 places, led by Peking University (1st) and Tsinghua University (2nd), and 77 in the ranking overall.
来自中国的高校领跑该榜单，在前10强中占据七席，北京大学排名第一，清华大学排名第二，另有77所大学上榜。
Accounting 1 for one in six of universities in the ranking, the Chinese mainland is home to the highest density 2 of leading institutions in the developing world.
中国大陆的大学占据该榜单六分之一的名额，成为发展中国家中顶尖学府最为密集的地区。

Meanwhile, Taiwan has 25 universities in this year's expanded ranking of 300 institutions.
同时，台湾地区今年在前300名高等学府中也占有25个席位。
An impressive 38 of China's universities make the top 100, including University of Science and Technology of China (5th), Fudan University which rose 11 places to reach sixth place this year, Shanghai Jiaotong University (7th), Zhejiang University (9th), Nanjing University (11th), and Wuhan University (21th).
值得注意的是，中国有38所大学位居前100名，除清华北大外还包括中国科技大学（第5名）、从去年榜单第11名上升至今年第6名的复旦大学、上海交通大学（第7名）、浙江大学（第9名）、南京大学（第11名）和武汉大学（第21名）。
