BERLIN, Sept. 19 (Xinhua) -- Bastian Schweinsteiger and Toni Kroos ensured a successful start for Bayern Munich into their UEFA Champions League adventure following a 2-1 win over Valencia at outsold Allianz Arena 1 on Wednesday.
Bayern started powerful into the match whereas Valencia showed absolute no interest to stage any offensive actions. Thus the Bavarians started a run on Valencia's goal but neither Arjen Robben nor Dante were able to open the scoring.
