RIO DE JANEIRO, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Fluminense striker Fred has been ruled out of Sunday's Carioca championship final against Botafogo and next Thursday's Copa Libertadores quarterfinal against Boca Juniors with a thigh 1 injury.
The former Lyon star guaranteed Fluminense's passage to the Copa Libertadores' last eight by scoring the winner in their 2-1 victory over Internacional on Thursday.
But he left the field with muscle pain and medical tests on Friday,confirmed he would miss the decisive 2 matches.

Fluminense' s doctor Victor Favilla said.
