China launches anti-dumping probe into TDI imports from EU

BEIJING, March 23 (Xinhua) -- The Ministry 1 of Commerce announced Friday it will launch an anti-dumping probe into toluene diisocyanate (TDI 80/20) imported from the European Union.
A brief statement on the MOC's website said it will begin investigating the dumping margin 2 and possible damage to similar products and industries in China starting from March 23.
TDI is a chemical used to make many household products, including foam 3 for furniture cushions and some sealants.
