Laurel: that’s before you realized that you could use me as bait /beɪt/. You own daughter.
Dad: yeah, but you wouldn't listen to me!
Laurel: you are so blinded by your hate for him that you don't realize the damage that it’s doing in your own life, to your family. So what happens when you catch him? What happens then, Dad? You’re going to find another criminal, somebody else to blame for mom leaving, for Sarah dying, for your drinking?
Dad: that’s enough, Laurel.
Laurel: yeah, you’re damn right, it is.
