At Tainan's Astronomy Museum, people can learn about space.

The solar system has at least eight planets 3.

We live on a small planet 2 called Earth.

Every planet in the solar system is different.

Some planets are very hot and dry.

Other planets are very cold.

All these planets move around a star.

That star is the sun.

The sun is very important.

It gives the earth days and nights and helps life grow.

The Astronomy Museum has big telescopes 4.

Using them, people can see stars and other planets.
透过它,人们可以看到星星和其他行星。
They can look at pictures of star groups and try to find them in the sky.

People look for a star called the North Star.
人们会寻找一颗星,叫做北极星,
This star helps people travel in the right direction.

People see other things in the sky, too.

Sometimes a star seems to shoot across the sky.

These are called shooting 5 stars.

In 1961, the first man went into space.

That was very exciting and changed the world.

More people and rockets went into space after that.

Today many countries are working in space.

Now we know a lot about space, but there is still much more to learn.
