Let's Go Shrimping!
去钓虾啰！
Shrimp 1 fishing, or shrimping, is a popular activity in Taiwan.
钓虾在台湾是很受欢迎的一项活动，
It's a fun and easy way to catch a meal.
那是好玩又轻松的方式来捕获一餐美食。
Where do people go shrimping?
人们去哪里钓虾呢？
One place is in Waishuangxi.
其中一个好地方是外双溪，
There are many shrimp fishing places there.
那里有很多钓虾场。

While shrimping is fun, it is not free.
虽然钓虾很好玩，那可不是免费的。
You must rent a fishing pole.
你必须租一支钓竿；
You also need to buy some bait 2.
还需要买一些饵，
The bait will attract the shrimp so you can catch them.
饵会吸引虾来，所以你可以钓到牠们；
You will also need a small net.
你还需要一个小网子。
Catching 3 shrimp in a shrimping pool isn't too hard,
在钓虾池钓虾并不太难，
but you must be patient.
但是你必须要有耐心。
To catch shrimp, put the bait on two little hooks 4 and put them into the water.
为了钓虾，要把饵放在两个小鱼钩上，然后放到水里。
Beginners catch about three shrimp an hour.
初学者一个小时差不多钓三只，
More experienced shrimpers can catch about 10.
比较有经验的钓虾客大概可以钓到十只，
One shrimper caught 100 shrimp in three hours!
曾经有钓客最高记录是三小时钓一百只虾！
New shrimp are added to the pool almost every hour.
每个小时都会添加新的虾子到水池里，
These shrimp come from a shrimp farm and are clean and healthy to eat.
这些虾子都是从养殖场送来的，干净健康可安心食用。
Shrimp fishing is a good activity for people to do together.
钓虾是个适合人们一起做的活动。
They can relax, talk, fish and, later, eat together.
大家可以放松、聊天、钓虾，然后再一起吃。
After shrimp fishing, you can cook your own food or ask someone else to do it.
钓完虾后，你可以烹调自己的食物，或是请人代劳。
If you want someone else to help you, give your net of shrimp to a cook.
如果你要别人代劳，就把你钓到那一网的虾子拿给厨师，
The cook will prepare them.
他会烹调。
Or you can cook your own food near the fishing pool.
或者你也可以在钓虾池旁烹煮你的食物，
Then you can enjoy a delicious meal.
那么你就得以享受美味的一餐。
The food tastes even better because you caught it yourself!
因为是你自己钓的，那虾子也会特别美味。
