交谈时别人会问，你现在怎么样？你是不是会说“Nothing special/Nothing new”?这可有点老土了哦~用用今天教的短语吧 Same old. 老样子。这话说起来多少有点无奈，通常我们会重复两遍。Same old, same old. 之所以强调两遍，其目的在于强调说话者所描述的事件很单调。下面我们来看一组对话：
Mike: So how's work going 1, anyway 2?
Claire: Ah 3, same old, same old.
Mike: Well, do you ever 4 think about looking for another job?
Claire: Yeah, I think about it, but you know. Too busy working to actually 5 get out and look.
麦克：工作还顺利吗？
克莱尔：哎，还不是老样子。
麦克：恩，有没有想过换工作？
克莱尔：有啊，我想过，可你又不是不知道，我工作忙得连找工作的时间都没有。
这里的Same old, same old. 不仅强调了克莱尔的工作了无新意而且近期内也不太可能会有什么新鲜事情发生。
