英语课
Military experts in China are warning against Japan's latest drill apparently 1 aimed at "recapturing lost islands".
Military expert Yin Zhuo says the drill could be preparation for future operations on the Diaoyu islands.
"According to Japanese media reports, the latest Japanese drill can have a focus on China. It might be a drill for a military solution to the Diaoyu islands dispute with China."
Yin says tactics used in the latest drill to parachute troops on the imaginary island is meant to occupy the Diaoyu islands in a short amount of time.
"The latest drill is based on the assumption the island is being controlled by the Chinese side and how to recapture it. First, sending in portal planes to probe the situation, getting pictures from Japanese and American satellites. More artillery 2 and planes will be sent in after an assessment 3 of the information. Troops will be parachuted in within an hour."
The Japanese defence minister has said Japan must improve its military tactics in light of the territorial 4 disputes with China.
Defence authorities from both Japan and the United States agreed last week to jointly 5 deal with the possibility of Chinese aircraft and vessels 6 entering the area Japan claims.
The Chinese defense 7 ministry 8 said Japan's increasing spying on Chinese planes over the airspace of the Diaoyu islands will put the Sino-Japanese sea and air security at risk.
