An oral English class at a university in Sichuan province recently stumbled upon a way to improve communication skills: the students, from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) taught their foreign teacher how to play mahjong.
日前，在四川省一所大学的英语口语课上，出现了一种罕见的提高沟通技巧的授课方法：即西南财经的同学们教他们的外教老师打麻将。
The unusual classroom activity was first publicized on the microblog of a SWUFE student surnamed Huang.
这种独特的授课方式最先是被西南财经大学一位姓黄的同学发布到微博上去的。

The foreigner is a teacher named Mary, who is originally from Kenya. Huang said that mary asked the students to bring a board game to class in order to improve their English communication ability. Mahjong proved to be the most popular.

Huang thought it was an interesting class. Though some people questioned the foreign teacher's professionalism, Huang held that her unusual method stimulates 2 students' desire for studying and actually did improve their communication skills.
黄同学认为这节课非常有趣。虽然有些人因此质疑这位外教的职业精神，但黄同学认为，正是她这种别开生面的教学方式激发了同学们学习的热情，并且也确实提高了同学们的英语沟通能力。
