MOSTAR, Bosnia and Herzegovina, April 9 (Xinhua) -- The 16th International Economic Fair "Mostar 2013" officially opened on Tuesday in Mostar in the presence of a number of EU officials and regional leaders.
"The EU is very proud to be a partner of the fair, I rejoice that we have the opportunity to show what the Union offers at our booth," Peter Sorensen, the EU Special Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, said at the opening ceremony.
The EU is a partner of the fair this year.
Vjekoslav Bevanda, Chairman of Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic, Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic and Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic also participated the fair. The four leaders also held talks over regional economic cooperation.
Over 700 participating exhibitors from around 40 countries attended this year's fair, making it one of largest economic gathering 1 in Balkan region.
