The US Federal Bureau of Investigation 1 has uncovered nearly 15,000 previously 2 undisclosed emails to or from Hillary Clinton when she served as the Secretary of State.

FBI has handed over these emails to State Department, media reports said. Those emails were expected to be released in the coming months.

The State Department agreed that it would appraise 3 the new batch 4 of emails by Sept 23, after which a schedule would be determined 5 for their release to the public.

The amount of the newly uncovered documents is almost half of the roughly 30,000 work-related documents that Clinton's lawyers turned over to the State Department in 2014.
