状语语从句
1. 时间状语从句由when / while 1 / as 2
A. when--表示主句的动作和从句的动作同时或先后发生，意为“当……时”。
例：I'll visit you when I arrive in Beijing.
My father came 3 in when I was 4 watching TV.
B. while--表示某段时间内，主从句动作同时发生，常对两个动作进行对比，意为“当……时”。
例：While Mary was writing 5 a letter, the children were playing outside.
C. as--表示主句和从句的动作并行发生，不指先后，意为“当……时”。
例：As I left the house, I forgot 6 the key. 我离开家时，忘了拿钥匙。
2. until 7 / till 8
A. Not…until / till…意为“直到……才……”。主句谓语动词是瞬间动词时，用否定式。表示某一动作到until所表示的时间才发生。
例：I didn't go to bed until I finished 9 my homework. 我直到完成作业才去睡觉。
B. until / till...意为“直到……为止”。主句谓语动词是持续性动词时，用肯定式。表示动作一直延续到until所表示的时间为止。till通常不用于句首及强调句，其他情况常可与until换用。
例：I'll wait for you until you come to see me. 我会一直等到你来看我。
conj.当…的时候；而；虽然；尽管 n.一会儿
- In a short while,the cat ate up the fish.不久，那只猫便将鱼吃个精光。
- He teaches English in the school all the while.他一直在这所学校里教英语。
conj.按照；如同
- He got work in a hotel as a waiter.他在一家旅馆找到了当服务生的工作。
- In the hotel,the old men were drinking away as usual.在旅馆里，这些老人和往常一样喝个不停。
v.动词come的过去式
- I was surprised why he came here so early.他为什么那么早到这里，我很惊奇。
- The doctor came in time to save his life.医生及时来抢救他的生命。
n.写，写作；著作，文学作品
- I am also writing a short story.我也写短篇小说。
- Do you like writing for children?你愿意为儿童写作吗？
v.动词forget的过去式，忘记，遗漏，轻忽
- The boy forgot where he put his textbook.那男孩忘记把课本放在什么地方了。
- I forgot how to do it.我忘记怎样做了。
prep.直到...为止；conj.直到...时才...
- He arrived home until midnight.他直到半夜才到家。
- She didn't sleep until midnight.她直到半夜才睡。
conj.直到(...为止)；n.(账台中)放钱的抽屉；prep.直到；pron.直到...为止，直到；vt.耕种
- It was not till 11 o'clock that he came back last night.昨晚直到11点他才回来。
- You can come to my house till all hours.你多晚来我家都没关系。
