Mummies 木乃伊
Have you seen an ancient Egyptian exhibition? 你看过古埃及的展览吗？
If you go to the exhibition, you can see a mummy. 如果你去看展览，就可以看到木乃伊。
What is a mummy? 什么是木乃伊？
Simply, a mummy is a dead person. 简单地说，木乃伊就是死人。
In ancient Egypt, people respected their kings and queens very much. 在古埃及，人们非常尊敬他们的国王和王后。
So they made huge tombs for their kings and queens, 所以他们为国王和王后建造了巨大的坟墓，
and they use special chemicals to preserve the dead bodies of their kings and queens. 他们使用特殊的化学药品来保存国王和王后的尸体。
Then they wrap the dead bodies. 然后他们把尸体包裹起来。
Thousands of years later, these mummies still has skin like a living person. 几千年后，这些木乃伊仍然像活人一样拥有皮肤。
